It’s always a good day in TABL when we get some new blood into the league, and today’s one of those days.

Please join us in welcoming Brad Viles (Wisconsin) as the new owner of the San Francisco Bays.
Brad isn’t new to APBA baseball. He’s been playing since the early 1980s, and he brings the kind of experience that fits TABL like a well-worn scorebook. Brad currently runs APBAL, a 10-team computer league, and he’s also an active member of another BBW 6.1 summer league. In other words: this isn’t a casual “I played once in college” situation — Brad’s been living the APBA life for decades.
Why This Matters for TABL
TABL has always been at its best when it’s fueled by passionate owners, the kind who love the strategy, the dice-and-drama moments, and the league friendships that come with the hobby. Brad’s long-running involvement in multiple leagues tells us one thing right away: he’s here because he loves the game, and he knows what it takes to keep a team (and a league) moving.
A New Chapter in San Francisco
With Brad taking the reins, the San Francisco Bays officially turn the page to a new chapter. Every ownership change brings fresh energy: new ideas, new approaches, and that early-season buzz of “alright… what’s this team going to look like now?”
Whether Brad comes in building patiently, swinging trades, or putting the pedal down in “win now” mode, one thing’s guaranteed, the Bays are back in the spotlight.
Welcome to the League, Brad!
From all of us in TABL: welcome aboard, Brad. We’re glad to have you with us, and we can’t wait to see what you do with the Bays.
Stay tuned, TABL always has a way of turning “new owner announcement” into “how did this team pull THAT off?” before you know it.
